Before you start, make sure to whitelist our Edge Server IPs if you have a firewall or other traffic throttling system on your origin server. Please, visit this page to obtain IPs of the CDN edge servers you are provisioned on.
When IP blocks are obtained from our support team, follow these instructions to make sure our servers are whitelisted.
Creating a New Pull Zone
Login to your Digital Ocean control panel.
Go to droplets and select the settings for your preferred one.
Droplet hostname would be your website domain and this is the one we will use for the MaxCDN pull zone settings. In case you have multiple hosts on same VPS, make sure you have the right one by opening your hosts file and grabbing host/domain you need.
~$ cat /etc/hosts
Login to your MaxCDN control panel.
Create a new Pull Zone.
Origin URL is the hostname from your Digital Ocean droplet - website domain hosted on your Digital Ocean VPS.
Label is used to describe your zone, you can use any form of description here, it's for internal orientation only.
Pull Zone Name cannot contain special characters. Zone Name will be included in your new CDN domain.
With this part done, you have CDN set up for usage and you can proceed to set your website by following the appropriate tutorial from our WordPress Integration page.
